The Disney Life “Kylie Cantrall”

There are kids all around the world who dream of being on Disney and how cool that would be. A young lady living in LA is one of these kids. Kylie Cantrall is a clever and quirky twelve-year-old whose whole existence is primarily based around Disney .  Those who follow her on social media knows how true this is. Many people may recognize  her on social media as, “Hello Kylie”. If you are one of these people, then you know her obsession. The Disney life is what she was born to live.

Kylie is one of those people who seems to be literally born talented, it all flows through her naturally. She is ridiculously funny, quick witted and extremely smart. Kylie is also a sensational vocalist, certainly one of the best in her age group. This appears to be natural as well. In the interview she said, “I guess you can say I never really started singing,  it was just always there. I started recording as early as two years old”. How crazy is that, recording at two! That’s awesome. With her dad being a music producer, singing was in her blood.

Outside of Kylie’s music videos, she performs live as well. She has performed a great deal live, and she says opening up for Post Malone was one of her favorites. “I was only ten, and he was playing a sold out event in Orange County, 5 thousand people! And at first they were like,  What’s this little kid doing on stage”, says Kylie. Needless to say, everyone at the sold out show loved her.

Songwriting is another skill she has been showing off, and can be heard in the lyrics in her song, “Shake”. This song was co-written by her along with Dwight Watson and Jeff Hoeppner. This song flows very well and it will get stuck in your head. She said this is a cut loose and have a good time song. Part of the reason she wrote the song, was because of her addiction to chocolate milkshakes. (who isn’t right)

The video for “Shake” is a blast to watch, the choreography is brilliant. The idea for the video came from Kylie along with the director Nayip Ramos. It was all filmed in a warehouse in North Hollywood. She says they went that morning and bought all the plants Home Depot had, shot the video and then returned them. (That’s funny, but clever). Whoever hasn’t seen this video yet needs to check it out, it carries a good Disney vibe. Kids will love it.

Currently, Kylie has four songs recorded and published. She says, she is always working on new material and is in the process of signing her first label deal. For now she cannot say what her new single will be that’s coming out, but she says, “It’s gonna be Hot”! Also she has some pop songs, trap music, and will even be singing in Spanish, a little something for everyone.

Kylie is a huge Disney fan and has been lucky to spend a great deal of her time there. “It feels like a second home” says Kylie. Her Disney dreaming is paying off. Soon there’s an  episode of Bizaardvark that will air Kylie will be in. In this episode, Kylie will be playing Tessa, Bernie Shots assistant. “I have some great funny moments joking” says Kylie. Keep an eye out for this episode, you don’t want to miss it.

Being a huge Disney fan she does have some favorites, one of them is, Raven’s Home. One of the reasons Kylie likes this show so much is, one of her friends is on it, Sky Katz. (Sky co-stars on Raven’s Home and prior to that on America’s Got Talent rapping, awesome rapper) Kylie says Sky is one of the coolest people she knows.

TV has already been a big part of her life with her first TV show being at seven years old. Her mom works for a station called, Estrella TV. Her mom helped her to get on one of the dance shows. Since then, she has been on a couple other shows and commercials. “I really love the TV side of entertainment” says Kylie.

Along with music videos, she has also been producing a series called, Hello Kylie. She now has twelve episodes and they are all hilarious. In these episodes she talks about things or people she likes. They are mostly music related and will usually find her singing and dancing to some of her favorite songs. One of her favorites to produce was episode 12, Pentatonix.  “I got to cast a bunch of kids my age to play the “Kid Version” of the Pentatonix. We shot that whole Episode in our living room” says Kylie. It was a family production, her and her dad came up with the outline and her mom did the hair and make-up.  This episode is a blast to watch.

Even when Kylie is not making videos, she is always doing something that is fun and entertaining. When Kylie was asked what other fun things she likes do, here is what she said: “I have three main passions right now: Watching scary movies, playing “Fortnight” and developing my skills as a “Baby Goat Whisperer”. LOL
People often ask me what its like being a “Goat Whisperer”? I say “it not BahahahahaD. Its’ obvious she is just a blast all the time.

Kylie is well gifted in many areas of entertainment, along with a huge personality. Her creativity and vision is well beyond her years. Watching her videos, her delivery does not appear to be scripted, just all ad-lib. She has the likability factor that will take her a long way in entertainment. However, her natural ability with comedy, dance and singing will launch her career further than Zendaya. Any network could easily create a show around Kylie, it would be a household hit. Keep watching for more great things from Kylie.

Ciara Wilson

One of the best things about TV shows and films are the comedians that play in many of them. There’s nothing better than a good laugh. Ciara Wilson is one of these comedians that can spawn  one of those laughs. She is gifted in comedy, she can create a laugh from people through movements, facial expressions and verbally.

Ciara started her career at eight years of age in Portland Oregon. Her first roles were voice-overs for Fred Mayer/Kroger grocery stores. She ended up being involved with several commercials in Portland before heading to LA. Once Ciara arrived in LA, her first project would be a co-starring role on, Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger. After this she would go on to be a guest-star on Disney’s Bizaardvark as Vicki “Hot Head” Fuego. Also on Dreamworks TV series “OMG” Ciara is recurring appearing in thirty sketches so far.

The Disney episode of Bizaardvark vs. Hot Head is extremely funny. This show is fun for the audience and fun for Ciara. “Playing Vicki Fuego was one of the most fun and interesting experiences I’ve ever had” said Ciara. Surprisingly, playing the role of a fighter came easily for her. As it turns out, she has had a little training in the martial art style of Taekwondo. “But it was my professional Hip Hop dance career and athleticism that really helped me land the role” said Ciara. This episode is a blast to watch. Some of the faces Ciara makes in her scenes are “classic”, you cannot help but laugh. One of the cool things for Ciara, was the role of a tough and aggressive girl which is totally opposite of who she really is.

In this episode there were a stretch of scenes with “Vicki” breaking several props. There was a cinder block which she punched to pieces and then chopped three wooden shelves in half. One of the funniest scenes was of Vicki pulling a stuffed bunny apart. She started pulling it apart by hand, then pulls its ear off with her teeth, and the look on her face was priceless. Pulling it apart with her teeth was not in the scripted.  “On the last take, I decided to take a risk and pull the last ear off with my teeth! Everyone in the room was laughing, and the director decided to keep it in the show” said Ciara.

Dreamworks TV is a bit like home for Ciara with her recurring on “OMG”. She says this has been fun filming and has met many lifelong friends through it. “Sketch  comedy is one of my favorite things to do and the OMG sketches were so funny and over the top” said Ciara. Cheerleaders were one of her favorite episodes to film. In this episode Ciara got to play alongside one of her best friends. They played cheerleaders who cheered for people in the worst situations. Some of these situations include, during a science fair, on a first date, babysitting, plus many more.

Her talent as an actress has not been going unnoticed. In the spring of 2017 she won the Young Entertainer Award for Best Guest Starring Actress in a TV series for her role on Bizaardvark. She was also nominated for a Young Entertainer Award for her Dreamworks TV sketches as well as two Young Entertainer Awards for the same roles.

Ciara may have played a mean tough girl on TV, but in real life she has a heart of gold. She is part of, The Children’s Outreach. This organization donates clothes, shoes and toys to kids. When volunteering you get assigned a child to pick out a package for specifically. “We always wonder where exactly our donations are going, so I love how personal the Children’s Outreach is” says Ciara.  Her favorite time to volunteer is during Christmas because many of the children come from financial backgrounds that do not allow them to have presents at all. “It’s heartwarming reading about their favorite toys and wish lists and imagining their faces when they receive their packages” said Ciara. She is happy to be able to can make a difference in their lives.

For her fans, she says never be afraid to reach out. “I love love to talk to my supporters about their dreams, passions and favorite things to do” says Ciara. She also says, she responds to comments and direct messages often and its the best way to keep in touch with her. Ciara loves to inspire others.

Pop Artist Caroline Grace Debuts Her Single “Show Me”

Caroline Grace has debuted her new single, “Show Me”, and stealing people’s hearts. Show Me, is a song where she throws her vulnerability out on the table. If her soothing voice doesn’t capture you, her puppy dog eyes in the video will certainly do the trick. She is a true artist to be able to project how vulnerable she can be vocally and then bring it to life on camera.  This song could be interpreted in different ways, but anyone looking for a love song for their significant other, this is it. Who could, resist!

This past July, Caroline and Poo Bear (Jason Boyd) got together to record a few singles, and Show Me is one of those singles. She said, Poo Bear had the initial idea, and they built the song from there. This song means a lot to Caroline. “There have been times in my life I have found myself deviating from my own path. Show Me is sort of intro prospective plea to remind myself of who I am and what I stand for, ” she said. She was also saying, “being such a beautiful song, it can be applied to various other circumstances”. Her thoughts are, it can be listened to as a love song between two people, a song about loving oneself, or even a worship song. “That’s the goal in all of my music, to utilize my own vulnerability to relate to other people in any way that I can and let them know that they aren’t alone,” she said.

Throughout the process of writing and producing, “Show Me” she had the great pleasure of working with Poo Bear. Poo Bear (Jason Boyd) recently wrote and produced on Justin Bieber’s entire, Purpose, album. Caroline says working with him was incredible. “When you walk into a room to work with a guy like that, you can’t help but be intimidated. However, his kind, goofy and humble persona quickly snapped that away, and I felt like I was in the studio with my best friend,” she said. She says, his work ethic is so inspiring, you can tell how deep is passion for music goes. She hopes to continue to work with him throughout her career.

Show Me, is a powerful single which she debuted. The song showcases different aspects of her vocals, character, realization, emotion, depth, and of course vulnerability. This gives an insight into what to expect when her first EP is released. Yes that’s right, an EP is being worked on. There will be a variety of songs ranging from acoustic to, very radio pop. She says, the consistency of the EP will be in the lyrics. “The project is a body of work that will very much relate to the place in life I am currently in and experiences I am having,” she said. There will be some great collaborations on the EP, but for now who they are, must remain under wraps. It will be exciting. She says, she wants all of her music to invoke emotion by pouring her heart into every song she records. “I truly believe that if I pour everything I have into my music, the listener will feel something too,” she said.

Caroline had a desire  for music since she was a little kid and knew that is what she wanted to do. However, when she started at USC is when she decided to immerse herself into her career wholeheartedly. What a great decision she made, it would have been a shame for the music world to miss out on a great creative talent such as Caroline. Now that the decision was made, and her music being realized, her music will touch millions.

Jasmine’s singing of cover songs has turned heads for a longtime, but now, it’s time to change. The change Jasmine is making, is easing out some cover songs, for songs of her very own.

People have been enjoying Jasmine’s singing from Florida to Tennessee and everywhere in between. Now with three songs of her own making, all of her fans will have a new love for her, and her music. Jasmine’s new songs are, Bet Your Heart On Me, Key To A Young Girls Heart, and My Time To Shine. All three songs will keep you smiling and tapping your foot all the way through. Her delivery of these songs makes you believe the story she is telling. Any young person listening will be able to identify with the lyrics, it fits them all.

Jasmine has created videos with each song and in doing so, there were different aspects of the process she enjoyed for each one. One of the things she enjoyed about, Bet Your Heart On Me was that it was her first, and she played the mandolin. “I loved, Key To A Young Girls Heart too, because my friend Selton Tison and I got to play in the stream”, says Jasmine. Her favorite however was her newest, My Time To Shine. She liked this one so well because it was in Nashville. Jasmine had her family were in it, and it made her feel like a star signing autographs.

Jasmine’s producer is Jack Molette and videographer is Dustin Jenkins, both are a regular at the Country Tonite Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Jasmine met them both while she was at the theater competing in NACMAI. She won several awards for her performances and in doing so, she caught the attention of Jack and Dustin.

Along with her producer, Jasmine is also lending a hand when it comes to her writing songs. “I get my ideas for new songs on a whim, they just come in my head”, says Jasmine. She keeps everything she needs close by her bed, guitar, pen and paper just in case she wakes up during the night with an idea. Jasmine has about ten songs already written. “I am always writing” says Jasmine. More videos for the songs are in the planning too, so be on the look out for them.

Having a dream and working hard for it brings success, and this is all true for Jasmine as well. “My dream is just smile! I love to see people smile when I sing” says Jasmine. Someday Jasmine hopes to have a recording contract, and go to a CMT award show. To sing at the Grand Ole Opry is also high on her dream list, as well as opening for a major artist like, George Straight, Loretta Lynn or Dolly Parton. “Someday I will have my own bus and go on tour, but it is all in God’s hands, so wherever he leads me I will go” says Jasmine. Big dreams come with big rewards and some of those rewards have been coming Jasmine’s way.

Over the past few years many good things have come to be in Jasmine’s favor. She has won awards and produced three amazing original songs. Her song My Time To Shine has truth in it. She is shinning and there’s been doors opening for her. No matter how many no’s she gets, she pushes on. The prize she is gazing at is not far out of reach and she is getting closer to it everyday. It is Jasmine’s time to shine, and she is getting brighter everyday.

Internet Star And Nashville Recording Artist, Jadyn Rylee

Exceptional things happen, to exceptional people, this happens to be a true fact, when talking about Jadyn. Already at her young age, she has an understanding of songs, that many people unfortunately never get. You wouldn’t think someone of her age would have the delivery, and  perception of songs, that is found and understood in her performances, but they are. The way she sings, is that of a much older and seasoned artist, but yet here she is stunning people with every song at just eleven years old. Jadyn, and the way she performs a song, has become an infection on the internet. She has gained internet stardom.

Jadyn’s fame, and audience grows larger by the day, with her videos reaching into the millions. One of these songs that has gotten a great deal of attention is, The Sound of Silence. This video has soared to well over four million in just barely three months. Her delivery of the song has a dark and haunting vibe to her voice, and people has gone crazy over it. Jadyn really liked this song. “The song was so deep and loud, it was fun trying to learn it” says Jadyn. Jadyn has been doing projects with Sina, and it was Sina’s dad Mike Wilbury and Rick Benbow who chose the song, The Sound of Silence. They felt people would love it, and they did in a big way.

Jadyn and Sina make a good team. Jadyn says she’s glad they found each other. “She is helpful with ideas and her drumming in our songs” says Jadyn. Currently they have three recordings together, The Sound of Silence, Nothing Else Matters, and Go Your Own Way. Plans to work on more videos together, is in the works. Jadyn hopes they will start working on something soon.

In June, Jadyn packed up and headed out to Nashville to write and record her very own songs. In Nashville she worked with legendary writer and guitarist Curt Ryle of Big Matador Records. While there they wrote three songs, and she loved the experience. “The experience was amazing because I have never had the chance to work with anyone who helped me write songs before, and I can’t believe we wrote three” Jadyn says.

Her newest release is one of the songs written and recorded in Nashville called, Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover. This is an anti-bullying song, and it was important to her to write. “I wanted to write a song that touched people and a song that kids could look up to, especially if they had been bullied before” says Jadyn. She has been bullied herself, but not as bad as some of her friends. She wanted to let her friends and everyone to see that bullying wasn’t alright and shouldn’t be allow. “We are all human and supposed to be equal and no one deserves to be hurt like that” says Jadyn.  She hopes to do more songs like that in the future. The song has a lot of meaning that sends out a good message, and her delivery of it is unbelievable. Brilliant!

Another song they wrote is called, Virtual Reality. The song is fun and bouncy and makes you want to dance. It also mentions Arianna Grande and Jadyn hopes one day Arianna will hear it. The song is about being a kid and enjoying life. Everyone will love this song. For now her third song will remain under wraps, but I can tell you, it’s going to blow your mind.

Writing with Curt was amazing, she says. “He helped me write the lyrics, and then recorded his guitar for all of the songs. It was so much fun” says Jadyn. While in Nashville writing with Curt they stayed at his home, and something clicked with the two of them that created a good bond. Curt was amazed at the things she was able to do in the studio, and one of the things was how high she could sing. He teasingly nicknamed her, Little Freak. “The funniest part about recording in Nashville was when we would get ready to record we would first have breakfast and then go down to the studio, every morning Curt would say “Well good morning little freak” it was so funny” Jadyn says. She can’t wait to go back. On all of her recordings, she sang all of the harmonies, and Curt said he had never met anyone who could do harmonies as well as Jadyn.

Music means the world to her and loves every aspect of it. Jadyn has met and worked with a lot of amazing people, Curt, Mike, Rick, Sina, and Andre she loves them all. She loves her singing coach as well, Sarah Hyde. “Sarah has taught me so much and has always told me that I can do this and I do it well” says Jadyn. Her coach is correct, she can do and does it well.

Jadyn is an exceptional person in the way she grasps lyrics, and creativity she puts in her songs. She has become well known, but not just who she is, but the way she sings a song. The people that follow her music are loyal listeners and can’t wait for a new song. With all she has accomplished in just a short time, it is obvious she will become larger than life. The world audience loves her.

Sam Hurwitz

Throughout time, various people have come along and made an imprint in human culture, for instance J.K. Rowling, Ron Howard, and Paul McCartney. What has set these people apart from many others is, they are visionary’s. People like J.K., Ron and Paul are dreamers who look beyond the obvious, and creates something that impacts people. Sam is one of these people who has the ability to see things differently, and create something that those who listen, can find themselves being part of his story.

Sam’s ability to create began showing itself at an early age. At just two years old, Sam would play a toy guitar and make up songs. When he turned eight years old he began performing for others. It was his guitar teacher who invited him to his first performance, which was a songwriters circle.

Big dreamers often demand big audiences, well Sam got just that. He got to perform a song at a NY Knicks halftime show at Madison Square Garden. Of course this was a favorite of his. “I had never played to an audience anywhere that size and it was very exciting” says Sam. Another performance that has become one of his favorite shows was at a gala for Stuttering Association for the Young. For this gala, Sam was asked to write a song just for it. “This was the first time I had to write a song on demand. I remember the songwriting process leading up to this gig well; getting ideas, scrapping them, forming melodies, until finally coming up with a song I thought was good” says Sam. For this performance, he was accompanied by a professional band, which he really enjoyed.

The creativity Sam has as a songwriter has started to catch the attention of various people in the industry. He was an American Songwriting Magazine Daily Discovery and an American Songwriting Awards nominee for his song, Without a Rhyme. Also a weekly independent chart in the UK called, Fabchart has picked up several of his songs.

Unlike most new artists, Sam doesn’t generally perform many cover songs, but he does like to learn them, mostly the instrumentals. However his favorite artist is Wilco. “I like them because of how memorable and unique each of their songs are” says Sam. Another favorite band of his is, Avett Brothers. He says their songs are very catchy and musically interesting, especially their album I and Love and You.

Getting out and performing to showcase the songs he has written, is something he loves. Sam says he likes to see the feedback his songs get. “It is also fun to play numerous songs as a set, bringing together different projects that I’ve been working on” says Sam.  He also says, it is interesting seeing what the environment and location of each performance is, and who is attending.

Sam’s dream is to always do something involved in storytelling and fiction. It doesn’t matter if it is through writing songs, writing stories or film-making. “I am fascinated by fiction; how one thought can create a whole universe, how one sentence that anyone can write can create characters and settings. I always want to be involved with stories” Sam says. He wants to harness his creative energy and always study , create, and experience fiction.

To master the art of songwriting a person needs creativity and imagination to bring the story that is in a lyrics alive. These skills along with many others can be found in the songs Sam writes. He officially started writing songs at the age of six, he is now fourteen with sixteen songs complete. One of the songs he loves is, Without a Rhyme. He remembers the writing process and creation of the video very well. “I wrote it while I was at a creative writing camp and the process and place I was in, was very special” says Sam. The music video for this was his first and has gotten the most attention.  In four of his songs he adds harmonica and this gives a great flavor to them. His latest song, Everlasting Oak, he has combined the guitar and harmonica which brings back to life an old era from Neil Young and Bob Dylan. Sam felt this was the perfect song to add the harmonica. The guitar he used can be seen by another icon who used one like it, his name, Buck Owens. “The guitar I play in that song was a gift I received that came from the collection of my favorite musician Jeff  Tweedy of Wilco. It’s a 1969 Buck Owens American guitar and using the harmonica just felt perfect with this song and guitar” says Sam.

Creativity and imagination is not only needed in writing a song, but also, to inspire ideas. When he was younger, he said he would just pick up the guitar and start singing, and that would be the song. As he got older, his ideas came from books he was reading or more often, a theme he is interested in. “For Everlasting Oak, I thought trees and forests had a lot of great imagery and potential for thoughtful lyrics” Sam says. He also says, he likes to write his lyrics as poetry, and strive to make the audience think. “I don’t just say the theme straight out, or tell the story in a very literal way” says Sam. He likes to weave a more complex tale that will leave the listener making his or her own interpretations for it.  It is songs written like this, that stick with him.

As of right now, he doesn’t have any up coming gigs to attend, however he is starting high school this fall. During the summers is when he works on all of his passions that he doesn’t have time for during the school year. “I was lucky that I got to attend amazing programs this summer for film-making, creative writing and music” says Sam. He also self published his first book in a fantasy series that he has been writing for two years. He hopes to publish the second this fall.

Somewhere inside of Sam lies sort of a lake of creativeness that is growing deeper by the day. It is being fed by many tributaries of imagination, wonder, fiction and reality. It is felt in what he creates, that this is not just what he does, but who he “is”. He is the modern day Bob Dylan, much of who Bob was, can be felt in Sam’s music as well. Sam is not just an artist, he is a visionary. He looks at things at different angles, not just straight ahead like most. The stories that he tells are not empty, they are full of substance. The music he creates is what music was meant to be. This is only the beginning. Where will his name be in the future? Beside Ron, J.K., Bob, and Neil, could very well be!
