Felicity Bryant

Felicity is an adorable young lady, nine years old living in California USA. She sings  A  Capella and does a beautiful job of it. Her voice is very clean and clear and handles the runs like she has been doing this for years. ( Above ) she is singing ” Ben ” I thought she done a spotless job of it, excellent indeed.

Felicity has been doing this for a little over a year, which she is doing very well in a short period of time. One of the remarkable parts of this story to me is,  that her mom didn`t even know what she could do. Her mom was deployed in the milatary for eight months. Felicity was left with her godparents who listen to a lot of gospel music. On her return from the military she discovered her daughter had a voice she had never heard from a child. To return home must have been a very touching moment and then to discover what Felicity can do must have been a delight that, _ I can only imagine.

Felicity takes private lessons,  after her third Ron Anderson told her that she was ready to work professionally and to start looking for an agent, they took his advice and currently looking for a professional agent. Felicity also does scene study and voice lessons with Leigh Scarritt in San Diego Calif. She is also a member of an all girl A Capella group called Cadence and has performed all over San Diego, plus she  has recently made it to the finals of Inland Icon 2010.

Felicity was cast in ” How The Grinch Stole Christmas ” in 2009 at The Old Globe and has also performed in ” Orestes ” at The Theater Inc. More recently her group Candence along with Leigh Scarritt won first place for best in performance in the San Diego Shakespeare Society`s Festival at Balboa Park. The Old Globe has invited them to perform in their annual Shakespeare Sonnet Event. Singing is for sure her passion , she has also performed in musicals such as ” You`re a Good Man Charlie Brown ” and ” Fame “.

Her mom says she sings in the shower everyday, as if it were a concert, well as you can see it is paying off very well for her. Many of her friends have now moved on with record labels and has been in movies. I believe with Felicity`s passion and the drive and love she has for performing that she will most certainly join them very soon. She has everything it takes , the support of family and friends which is so critical , the hard work and patience you must have to pursue the entertainment business. Some of her upcoming events are , on June 4 , 5 , 6 she will be playing the part of Alice In ” Bye Bye Birdie ” at the Lyceum theatre San Diego Calif. she is preparing for the A Capella June 19 at the San Diego county fair. On July fourth she will be performing at the Avo Moonlight Theatre and she also has a call back for ” How The Grinch Stole Christmas ” again this year at The Old Globe Theatre.  Anyone wanting to see her live has plenty of opportunity and I know you will not be disappointed. Felicity is being all she can be , and putting her all into what she loves.  To make it the entertainment business you really need to get yourself out there and let people see and hear you . Felicity is doing just that and all her hard work is sure to bring her dreams to a reality. Felicity is an extremely talented young lady and I look forward to seeing her on TV very soon….
