Haylie was amazing to see at the Nashville Palace this past December. She has a great country sound, and a wonderful stage presence. Her performances at the Palace certainly gained her a lot of new fans, and everyone enjoyed listening.  She said it was really fun and exciting performing at the Nashville Palace. Nashville is the place where Haylie belongs.

Haylie took off on her singing journey at eleven years old at her 5th grade school talent show. She said no one even knew she could sing. As it turns out she discovered how much she loved being on stage and performing. Since then she has been getting around singing at many different places like Nashville and Jacksonville Florida, where she performed at the Jacksonville Landing in August 2012. She said she had a great time singing at the Landing even though it was really hot that day.

Her singing talents has been gaining her several awards. Haylie has won a couple of fair talent contests, along with a few awards from her school talent shows including Most Entertaining. She also made the top 20 for Variety Stars of Tomorrow, which is a singing competition in Georgia. As well as she sings there will be many more awards to come her way.

Haylie loves to sing and she loves to cover songs from, Etta James, LeAnn Rimes, Adele, and Carrie Underwood. She certainly has a great taste in artists and you can tell they are rubbing off on her.  The stage is where she loves to be, she enjoys being in the spotlight. She says if God gave you a gift, you should use it to the best of your ability. Haylie is definitely using her gift, and as much as she enjoys it, so do those who listen.  While she does cover a lot of people, she hopes to have her own songs not far down the road. She is now in the process of writing some songs, although nothing has been put to music yet. She does have one however that is special to her, one that she wrote for her mom just for fun. It is special to her because her mom is one of her best friends.

Her goal right now is to do good in school and make it into a good college, but as for singing it is just beginning for her and she is excited to see what the future holds. Haylie does have many interests that she pursues that include, acting, modeling, pageants, and volunteering when she gets the chance. She is very involved at school, she is a student Ambassador, and in Honor Chorus, Drama club, Environmental, and 4-H. She spends a lot of time volunteering with animals, the elderly and sick children. Haylie may sing very well, but there is so much more to her. Haylie may not be a major artist at this time, but one thing is for certain, she would make a great role model for anyone.  If you get a chance to see her, talk with her for a few minutes and you will see just how wonderful a person she is.
