Heather is a marvelous vocalist and actress. She has a wonderful career going, and has done many things from stage to TV. Her love of, The Wizard of Oz got the whole thing started at the age of two. She would dress up as Dorothy, the dress and ruby slippers while belting out, Somewhere Over The Rainbow. In elementary school she got her first taste of the stage performing in a Off Broadway show, “The People Garden”. Heather along with other students not only performed Off Broadway in NY, but they toured schools in the tri-state area, teaching students important life lessons. This launched her acting career, and it has been a amazing journey.

Since her first stage performance, she has gone on to bigger things, and one of her favorite performances she has done was playing, “Sabrina Farmer” on Law and Order SVU. On the show one of the lead detectives rescued her and carried her in his arms. She has also been on, Law and Order Criminal Intent, Guiding Light, One Life To Live, a At&T commercial, and was princess, Jasmine, on the Disney float in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Heather certainly has made a great start in her career, but she says, it takes a lot of work and there is a lot of waiting involved.

Her talents does not stop at acting, she is also an amazing singer. This year she was part of Englewood Idol competition that takes place at the BergenPAC raising money for college scholarships. She placed in the six finalist out of thirty. It was a lot of fun for her, she sang, “At Last” by Etta James and “You and I” by Lady Gaga.  Heather gets a lot of her inspiration from Ingrid Michaelson. Heather looks up to her because she stays true to herself as a performer, and is always representing her own style in her music. Heather loves to sing it allows her to connect with the audience in ways that she could not do other wise. When she is on TV or film, she is just sharing the scene with another actor, but with singing she is experiencing something with the audience. She says, she is telling them a story, and it becomes their story as well. That is what singing is all about, telling the story in away, that it takes the audience into the story it’s self. If you  can accomplish this you are an artist, and Heather does it very well. She has also been doing some song writing, and she says, that each one is like a diary entry and if you put  all her songs together in the order they were written you would see her life unfold. She is currently in the process of recording them now, and will be available very soon.

Heather wants to be the best role model she can be to others. You can bet she is a great role model, all anyone has to do is look at what she has accomplished with hard work and loving what she does. Anyone looking to make a career from their talent just needs to look to Heather. She is very grateful to her family, especially her sister for being so supportive of her through everything. She is truly amazing do not miss anything she does.
