Internet Star And Nashville Recording Artist, Jadyn Rylee

Exceptional things happen, to exceptional people, this happens to be a true fact, when talking about Jadyn. Already at her young age, she has an understanding of songs, that many people unfortunately never get. You wouldn’t think someone of her age would have the delivery, and  perception of songs, that is found and understood in her performances, but they are. The way she sings, is that of a much older and seasoned artist, but yet here she is stunning people with every song at just eleven years old. Jadyn, and the way she performs a song, has become an infection on the internet. She has gained internet stardom.

Jadyn’s fame, and audience grows larger by the day, with her videos reaching into the millions. One of these songs that has gotten a great deal of attention is, The Sound of Silence. This video has soared to well over four million in just barely three months. Her delivery of the song has a dark and haunting vibe to her voice, and people has gone crazy over it. Jadyn really liked this song. “The song was so deep and loud, it was fun trying to learn it” says Jadyn. Jadyn has been doing projects with Sina, and it was Sina’s dad Mike Wilbury and Rick Benbow who chose the song, The Sound of Silence. They felt people would love it, and they did in a big way.

Jadyn and Sina make a good team. Jadyn says she’s glad they found each other. “She is helpful with ideas and her drumming in our songs” says Jadyn. Currently they have three recordings together, The Sound of Silence, Nothing Else Matters, and Go Your Own Way. Plans to work on more videos together, is in the works. Jadyn hopes they will start working on something soon.

In June, Jadyn packed up and headed out to Nashville to write and record her very own songs. In Nashville she worked with legendary writer and guitarist Curt Ryle of Big Matador Records. While there they wrote three songs, and she loved the experience. “The experience was amazing because I have never had the chance to work with anyone who helped me write songs before, and I can’t believe we wrote three” Jadyn says.

Her newest release is one of the songs written and recorded in Nashville called, Don’t Judge A Book By Its Cover. This is an anti-bullying song, and it was important to her to write. “I wanted to write a song that touched people and a song that kids could look up to, especially if they had been bullied before” says Jadyn. She has been bullied herself, but not as bad as some of her friends. She wanted to let her friends and everyone to see that bullying wasn’t alright and shouldn’t be allow. “We are all human and supposed to be equal and no one deserves to be hurt like that” says Jadyn.  She hopes to do more songs like that in the future. The song has a lot of meaning that sends out a good message, and her delivery of it is unbelievable. Brilliant!

Another song they wrote is called, Virtual Reality. The song is fun and bouncy and makes you want to dance. It also mentions Arianna Grande and Jadyn hopes one day Arianna will hear it. The song is about being a kid and enjoying life. Everyone will love this song. For now her third song will remain under wraps, but I can tell you, it’s going to blow your mind.

Writing with Curt was amazing, she says. “He helped me write the lyrics, and then recorded his guitar for all of the songs. It was so much fun” says Jadyn. While in Nashville writing with Curt they stayed at his home, and something clicked with the two of them that created a good bond. Curt was amazed at the things she was able to do in the studio, and one of the things was how high she could sing. He teasingly nicknamed her, Little Freak. “The funniest part about recording in Nashville was when we would get ready to record we would first have breakfast and then go down to the studio, every morning Curt would say “Well good morning little freak” it was so funny” Jadyn says. She can’t wait to go back. On all of her recordings, she sang all of the harmonies, and Curt said he had never met anyone who could do harmonies as well as Jadyn.

Music means the world to her and loves every aspect of it. Jadyn has met and worked with a lot of amazing people, Curt, Mike, Rick, Sina, and Andre she loves them all. She loves her singing coach as well, Sarah Hyde. “Sarah has taught me so much and has always told me that I can do this and I do it well” says Jadyn. Her coach is correct, she can do and does it well.

Jadyn is an exceptional person in the way she grasps lyrics, and creativity she puts in her songs. She has become well known, but not just who she is, but the way she sings a song. The people that follow her music are loyal listeners and can’t wait for a new song. With all she has accomplished in just a short time, it is obvious she will become larger than life. The world audience loves her.

Sam Hurwitz

Throughout time, various people have come along and made an imprint in human culture, for instance J.K. Rowling, Ron Howard, and Paul McCartney. What has set these people apart from many others is, they are visionary’s. People like J.K., Ron and Paul are dreamers who look beyond the obvious, and creates something that impacts people. Sam is one of these people who has the ability to see things differently, and create something that those who listen, can find themselves being part of his story.

Sam’s ability to create began showing itself at an early age. At just two years old, Sam would play a toy guitar and make up songs. When he turned eight years old he began performing for others. It was his guitar teacher who invited him to his first performance, which was a songwriters circle.

Big dreamers often demand big audiences, well Sam got just that. He got to perform a song at a NY Knicks halftime show at Madison Square Garden. Of course this was a favorite of his. “I had never played to an audience anywhere that size and it was very exciting” says Sam. Another performance that has become one of his favorite shows was at a gala for Stuttering Association for the Young. For this gala, Sam was asked to write a song just for it. “This was the first time I had to write a song on demand. I remember the songwriting process leading up to this gig well; getting ideas, scrapping them, forming melodies, until finally coming up with a song I thought was good” says Sam. For this performance, he was accompanied by a professional band, which he really enjoyed.

The creativity Sam has as a songwriter has started to catch the attention of various people in the industry. He was an American Songwriting Magazine Daily Discovery and an American Songwriting Awards nominee for his song, Without a Rhyme. Also a weekly independent chart in the UK called, Fabchart has picked up several of his songs.

Unlike most new artists, Sam doesn’t generally perform many cover songs, but he does like to learn them, mostly the instrumentals. However his favorite artist is Wilco. “I like them because of how memorable and unique each of their songs are” says Sam. Another favorite band of his is, Avett Brothers. He says their songs are very catchy and musically interesting, especially their album I and Love and You.

Getting out and performing to showcase the songs he has written, is something he loves. Sam says he likes to see the feedback his songs get. “It is also fun to play numerous songs as a set, bringing together different projects that I’ve been working on” says Sam.  He also says, it is interesting seeing what the environment and location of each performance is, and who is attending.

Sam’s dream is to always do something involved in storytelling and fiction. It doesn’t matter if it is through writing songs, writing stories or film-making. “I am fascinated by fiction; how one thought can create a whole universe, how one sentence that anyone can write can create characters and settings. I always want to be involved with stories” Sam says. He wants to harness his creative energy and always study , create, and experience fiction.

To master the art of songwriting a person needs creativity and imagination to bring the story that is in a lyrics alive. These skills along with many others can be found in the songs Sam writes. He officially started writing songs at the age of six, he is now fourteen with sixteen songs complete. One of the songs he loves is, Without a Rhyme. He remembers the writing process and creation of the video very well. “I wrote it while I was at a creative writing camp and the process and place I was in, was very special” says Sam. The music video for this was his first and has gotten the most attention.  In four of his songs he adds harmonica and this gives a great flavor to them. His latest song, Everlasting Oak, he has combined the guitar and harmonica which brings back to life an old era from Neil Young and Bob Dylan. Sam felt this was the perfect song to add the harmonica. The guitar he used can be seen by another icon who used one like it, his name, Buck Owens. “The guitar I play in that song was a gift I received that came from the collection of my favorite musician Jeff  Tweedy of Wilco. It’s a 1969 Buck Owens American guitar and using the harmonica just felt perfect with this song and guitar” says Sam.

Creativity and imagination is not only needed in writing a song, but also, to inspire ideas. When he was younger, he said he would just pick up the guitar and start singing, and that would be the song. As he got older, his ideas came from books he was reading or more often, a theme he is interested in. “For Everlasting Oak, I thought trees and forests had a lot of great imagery and potential for thoughtful lyrics” Sam says. He also says, he likes to write his lyrics as poetry, and strive to make the audience think. “I don’t just say the theme straight out, or tell the story in a very literal way” says Sam. He likes to weave a more complex tale that will leave the listener making his or her own interpretations for it.  It is songs written like this, that stick with him.

As of right now, he doesn’t have any up coming gigs to attend, however he is starting high school this fall. During the summers is when he works on all of his passions that he doesn’t have time for during the school year. “I was lucky that I got to attend amazing programs this summer for film-making, creative writing and music” says Sam. He also self published his first book in a fantasy series that he has been writing for two years. He hopes to publish the second this fall.

Somewhere inside of Sam lies sort of a lake of creativeness that is growing deeper by the day. It is being fed by many tributaries of imagination, wonder, fiction and reality. It is felt in what he creates, that this is not just what he does, but who he “is”. He is the modern day Bob Dylan, much of who Bob was, can be felt in Sam’s music as well. Sam is not just an artist, he is a visionary. He looks at things at different angles, not just straight ahead like most. The stories that he tells are not empty, they are full of substance. The music he creates is what music was meant to be. This is only the beginning. Where will his name be in the future? Beside Ron, J.K., Bob, and Neil, could very well be!

Chloe Jane, “Superstar”

Chloe Jane’s single Superstar is a “hit”. People are cranking up the song over and over. The title Superstar is perfectly fitting for Chloe, she is a Superstar. Everything about this song is fun, exciting and well written. This could all be in part by the fact that Meghan Trainor a Superstar herself, wrote it. Chloe was thrilled to receive this song. “I was so excited and honored. Superstar is a song I can relate to as can my friends” says Chloe. She had met Meghan and her producers, who got along well with her. Meghan and her producers told Chloe they had a song for her to record, so Superstar became her’s. One of those opportunities was being part of the Song Suffragettes at The Listening Room.  The Song Suffragettes is a female singer/songwriter showcase. “They support women of country music and I love what they do” says Marisa. For this showcase, it is necessary to audition, but Marisa earned her spot and had a lot of fun.

Marisa not only loves performing, it has become a way of life that she looks forward to each day. “Performing is so much fun, but I also love seeing people happy, dancing or singing along” says Marisa. Usually at her shows she performs, Don’t Stop Believing to help get the crowd going. Falling in love is what it’s about. “Heartbeat is about someone falling in love and combining two hearts into one” says Dylan. The video is a blast to watch, everyone loves the beach.

There has been a great deal of accomplishments in Dylan’s career. Her journey that led to the accomplishments all started many years ago. Before Dylan could even talk, she was singing, although hard to understand, but it was still singing. Over time she has progressed, but not without setbacks. One of her biggest achievements for Dylan was stage-fright. When it was her turn to go on stage, her mom would have to drag her out of the bathroom, but once on stage singing, she was fine. Now, you would never know she was shy about anything, she can perform with the best of them.  She used to be part of a singing group as well. They would travel to different malls, festivals, amusement parks to perform.

When it comes to talent, triple-threat is what comes to mind. Besides being a pronominal singer, she is also a dancer and actress. She loves dancing, and creating her own choreography. Acting is a challenge for her, especially when it comes to auditions. The audition it’s self is not the challenge, it is the large number of others going after the same part.

Dylan is big on anti-bullying and attends the Anti-bullying festival. She would love to perform for them if the opportunity came about. She has not performed any charities yet, but hopes to in the future.

Being in the entertainment field it can be difficult to manage time, but for a teen, they have the added schoolwork to go along with it.  Dylan says it is a juggle managing everything.

Pop music has always been great, but with the addition of Dylan, it has gotten even better. The charisma she has is so strong, it draws people in instantly. In her videos, her many talents can be seen in full swing. She is gifted and likable. Don’t miss anything from Dylan, keep track of her on  Facebook and YouTube

The Heartbeat Of Music, Sina

Out of a small village in Germany, rises one of the greatest drummers in the world of music, eighteen year old Sina  She has gained the attention of music lovers around the globe. Sina “is” the heartbeat of music. When performing solo or collaborating with others, she is the heart, spine and breath of the music. The drummer is the person who brings the personality to the music. Sina has a great sense for rhythm, and groove. Her own individuality can be heard and seen in all performances. The thrill and love of it all is seen in her face. One day she will be found on the cover of Rolling Stones where she belongs.

Sina started bring the beat to music when she was ten years old. The drums are an instrument in which she doesn’t have to worry about notes or chords, which she likes. She does play other instruments like piano and bass, but it is the drums she gravitates to and has become famous for.

As her musical abilities began to grow, she didn’t have many opportunities for performing. Sina, living in a small village and underage left little chance of her playing anywhere other than in a school Big Band. So at the age of fourteen, she started doing videos. Her YouTube channel has, exploded!

Since Sina started posting videos online, here in just four years, she has become an internet sensation known by many, but she seems unaware. “That seems slightly strange to me and don’t quite understand why these people are interested in me” Sina says. People love Sina because of the passion and the feeling you get when listening to her play. It is the fascination of her performances from each stroke of the drumstick, to the presentation in itself, her showmanship. This all draws people to her.

Her dad has been a musician for many years. He has worked for a distributor in Germany for Gibson Guitars. In the 90’s he started touring with a professional Beatles Tribute show. By the time Sina was eight, he had stopped touring and started recording. Her dad’s niche was, teach German kids English with music. He was also involved with creating the biggest collection of English Nursery Rhymes available in the world. With the credentials her father has, it is easy to see where her greatness stems from. He is a big influence with her music. “He encourages me to go for new challenges everyday” Sina says.

Sina is a session player, and is involved with many projects for her dad and other artists around the world. She has done many collaborations with people from all corners of the planet. “Collaborations are my way of compensating for the lack of fellow musicians in my village” Sina says. Sina’s dad does the editing and recording for her, but she says one day she might give it a try herself.

There are many videos of her collaborations with various artists and loves working with them all. She does say it is a lot of fun to work with other young musicians and artists. Here in the past few months Sina has worked with Emma Marie, Lucy Gowen, Lauren Isenberg, Avonlea and Jadyn Rylee just to name a few. Together they have made some amazing videos that thousands of people have enjoyed. Every one of these performances are of the highest quality, keeping music lovers coming back day after day.

Mixed in with her cover songs is an absolute brilliant original called, Doing The Wrong Thing The Right Way. This song was written by her dad as part of the Chi Might project (Chi Might is her first album). When they started recording the album they were looking for singers on YouTube when they saw, Lauren Isenberg. Sina and her dad knew the song was just right for Lauren. It was a perfect fit. The entire production is brilliant, the instrumental, the vocals, all of it.

Her album, Chi Might consists of fifteen original songs. They did a call out for musicians, songwriters and singers, with a great response. Quite a few of the people who contacted them became part of the album. Kara Glazer, who had written an amazing song that she performed herself called, Fate. And Shontrash, a band from Bangladesh. Of course her dad contributed songs as well, but they kept looking for songwriters. They found Avonlea, who contributed  a song called, Kylie Jenner. She sent the piano part and vocals, then Sina and her dad added drums, bass, and guitar that same day. The finished product is first rate and should be on every radio. It has a wonderful jazzy sway to it, catchy, great flow, just a fun song.

Sina is constantly working on original songs, but she does not write any songs herself, she does however create the drum parts. They have already been thinking of making a new album, but they do need to find the right musicians. With Sina’s popularity that should not be much of a problem.

None of these projects would have been as exciting without drums. Drums are the heart of an instrumental/song. It is people like Sina who creates that heartbeat, that gives it life. A great drummer can make your heart pound, make you wonder, feel intensity or get up and dance. This is what Sina does, adds meaning to music. Throughout the years drummers have become legends through their creativity, people like Ringo Starr, Kenny Aronoff, Alex Van Halen and others the list goes on. Sina is putting her spin on music, and the world is listening, and they love it. Her name will be alongside all of these legends very soon.

The song was produced by Jonell Polansky at DaCapo music, and written by legendary Kim Williams. Adia delivered the song well, you can feel the passion and heart in its delivery. She is a true credit to music.

Wings On Your Dreams:

The adventures Adia has had up to this point was started several years ago. She was a dancer first, then began to sing where she could. Adia first performed at the age of six or seven at Footlite Musicals summer camp as Ancestor Meng in Mulan and at Ben Davis Performing Arts Center as Kate in Annie. This all lead her to tour the country playing the iconic role of Annie.

During the tour, Adia played the role of Pepper and Annie. The tour lasted one year with 310 shows in 32 cities with Martin Charnin directing the production. She loved being part of the tour. “It was an honor playing the title role of Annie 38 years after the first production on Broadway” says Adia. She said, she was blessed to have been picked to play these roles. “When I was on stage playing Annie, I had a real connection with her character and with Daddy Warbucks” says Adia. She loved working with the entire cast and crew. Adia says they became like family and are still very close.

While touring the country Adia had the opportunity to spend a week performing in her hometown Indianapolis. They also made a stop in New Orleans which she enjoyed very much. They were there two weeks before Mardi Gras. “I remember how much fun it was to throw/receive the beads from all of the people on the roof tops and there were parades everyday” says Adia.  The most fun for Adia was meeting all the fans in all of the cities, signing the autographs and doing talk backs with the fans, everyone loves the story behind Annie. “I also loved being on stage 8 times a week and being involved in what I love to do, it’s like a dream come true” says Adia.

Along the way she meet some amazing fans, but there was one family who she continues to stay in contact with. In the family were two girls and a baby boy, they were at the show in Ft. Myers Florida. Adia met them on the way out after the show. “They were too scared to talk to me at first until after I hugged them and asked if they liked the show” Adia says. Adia said they were so cute and after the tour, she sent them Annie t-shirts and a hat. No doubt Adia left a lasting impression on that family, but you can bet many others were touched by her along the way. She loves each and everyone of her fans.

Adia continues to sing anywhere she can. She was honored to have been chosen to sing at the 54th Circle Of Lights in November 2016. “I felt so blessed to have been chosen to perform in my hometown in front of 100,000 plus people” says Adia. She will be performing in Nashville this June during CMA week if you would like to catch one of her performances. She loves to be able to perform at so many places, this lets her be herself, and singing lets her express the emotional side of the song.

She dreams of pursuing a career in acting, singing and dancing. “I really love being on stage in music theater productions and I am also interested in trying out some TV and film projects” says Adia. She puts a great deal of time in sharpening her crafts to help her realize her dreams. This summer she will be participating in a summer theater camp in July, and then she will be traveling out of town for dance nationals.

Being versatile in the entertainment business leads to success. It has been Adia’s versatility that has allowed her to live part of her dreams thus far. With her continued efforts more of her dreams will come. Adia works hard and her achievements are testament to what can happen to those who strive. It will be exciting to watch her grow in the entertainment field. The sky is the limit for someone as talented as Adia.
